New Maps for Gears of War®

Emergence Day has come and gone. Two million gamers have already bought Gears of War, taking up the cause against the vicious Locust Horde. Some lived. Some suffered.

It's time for a little good news, in the form of two new map downloads.

Available on January 10th on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace, Raven Down places you in the desperate aftermath of a helicopter crash, while Old Bones drops you right in the middle of a Locust attack on  Sera's Museums. Get right down and fight, or just sit back a while and drool over the sick level of detail you've come to expect from Gears of War. Brought to you by Discovery Channel's “FutureWeapons,” the map pack also includes a free Gamer Theme and a CliffyB video.

It's easy—all you have to do is tune into the show, FutureWeapons, on the Discovery Channel, and you may just be the lucky little curb-stomper to win two million Microsoft® Points. Oh, don't worry, the show may not have a chainsaw gun, but it has a lot of other cool, lethal gadgets to make up for it. The show premieres January 15 at 9pm, ET/PT.
