Gears Pro Circuit Mexico City October Esports Event Postponed

Over the past few weeks, Mexico has experienced a series of natural disasters including hurricanes and, most recently, a devastating set of earthquakes. Our hearts go out to Mexico, where many Gears of War fans and players have been personally affected by this tragedy. To aid in earthquake relief efforts across Mexico, The Coalition has redirected an equal portion of funds raised through the recent Carmine Charity Pack.

Due to these recent events and for the safety of all fans, players, partners and staff, the Gears Esports team has made the difficult decision to postpone the Gears Pro Circuit Mexico City Open from its original October date to early 2018. We are working closely with our partners to announce a new date as soon as possible. We understand that many have already booked travel and accommodation and we recommend contacting your travel providers, as many will offer recourse in the event of a natural disaster.

With this postponement of the Mexico City event, the first Gears Pro Circuit event of Season 2 will now be held in the United States later this Fall/Winter. We ask for your patience and consideration as we work to transition our plans and schedules accordingly, and look forward to sharing details on the kick-off location and date for Season 2 of the Gears Pro Circuit once confirmed.
