Gears Pro Circuit Season 1 Code of Conduct Investigations 06-20-2017

Gears Esports conducted investigations into several incidents during Season 1 Gears Pro Circuit events. The Gears Esports team takes the Code of Conduct seriously and believes in creating a safe and welcoming environment for our players, staff, and partners. After investigation, we have ruled the following penalties in accordance with the Gears Esports Code of Conduct effective immediately:

Xcells: Suspension from Gears Pro Circuit events and Gears Pro Points activities (GameBattles, sanctioned LANs etc) until after the last Season 2 Gears Pro Circuit event for disrespectful language and behaviour at multiple events to staff and partners, disregard for match and media warnings at multiple events, and threatening behaviour to tournament staff (season suspension).

GODPLAY5: Suspension from Gears Pro Circuit events and Gears Pro Points activities (GameBattles, sanctioned LANs etc) until after the third S2 Gears Pro Circuit event for two physical altercations (3 event suspension). Update (10/4/2017): Due to the extreme circumstances of the Mexico City event postponement and delay of the first event of Season 2, GODPLAY5's suspension will include the Gears Esports Fall Regionals event on November 11-12 and continue through until after 6:00 AM ET on Monday, January 29th.

Red Icy: Suspension from Gears Pro Circuit events and Gears Pro Points activities (GameBattles, sanctioned LANs etc) until after the first S2 Gears Pro Circuit event for involvement in a physical altercation/threatening behaviour (1 event suspension). Update (10/4/2017): Due to the extreme circumstances of the Mexico City event postponement and delay of the first event of Season 2, Red Icy's suspension will be modified to a suspension from Gears Pro Circuit events and Gears Pro Points activities until 6:00 AM ET on Monday, October 16th (the original date of the Mexico City event) with the exception of the Gears Esports Fall Regionals event on November 11-12. Red Icy will be suspended from participating in the Fall Regionals event.
