For Season 2, the Gears Esports program for Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Asia) has been updated based on community feedback. Instead of a Gears Pro Points system for Asia Pacific, we will be working with local partners in the region to provide better events, activities, and support.
Gears Esports Asia Pacific Regional Series - operated by gamestah
Season 2 of the Gears Esports program for Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Asia) is coming to an end! Three phases have already been completed, and the fourth phase is finally under way! Read on to find out what’s at stake – and how you and your team can enter to win a share of the prize money.
Phase 1: October 22nd, November 12th, November 19th, December 10th (Finals)
Phase 2: January 21st, February 4th, February 18th, March 4th (Finals)
Phase 3: March 18th, April 1st, April 15th, April 29th (Finals)
Phase 4: May 13th, May 27th, June 10th, June 24th (Finals)
Phase 4 will once again feature a prize pool of $2,800 USD, to be shared between the top four teams. Prizes will be allocated as follows:
- 1st place: $1,500 USD
- 2nd Place: $700 USD
- 3rd place: $350 USD
- 4th place: $250 USD
Online Format and Schedule
Phase 4 features three qualifying events which will have open registration for all teams in the APAC region. During each qualifier, teams earn points on the Phase 4 Leaderboard, and at the end of the qualifying stage, the top four teams will advance to the finals. All four teams that advance to the finals win cash!
- Qualifying Events: June 10th, June 24th, July 8th, 2018
- Finals: July 22nd, 2018
